Voice Thread for Bluebonnets--Here is an example of a Voice Thread that incorporates the Bluebonnet books, communicating using Web 2.0 tools, and 21st century skills.  It features only a few of the 20 titles on the MasterList at the TLA website and will be edited in the future to include more.  You could even add in some yourself!  Enjoy!

LibraryLaw Blog--created and moderated by Mary Minow, a longtime leader in the field of library law--A wide range of issues related to libraries is discussed here, including use of book covers in blogs and more!

Carol Simpson--self-described on her webpage as "Author, consultant, editor on issues of ethics, copyright, school library management", Carol Simpson could add one more term: guru.  One of my library science professors at UNT and a librarian before any of those other occupations came along, Dr. Simpson is an acknowledged authority on copyright and schools.

Texas Bluebonnet Award --- from the Texas Library Association --- Current nominees are listed along with annotations and descriptions of the text.  Previous winners and nominees can be viewed also by clicking on various links in the menus.

Worldcat.org --- Most libraries have an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) by which patrons can look up holdings in that library.  Have you ever wanted to see if other libraries might have what you want if your favorite location does not?  WorldCat can search library catalogs literally around the world.  Type in your zip code, and it will search for you according to that parameter.
